MAKING COMMON GROUND | THE FESTIVAL OF LOOKING

Saturday 15 & 22 June 2019

Current Event

10:00 – 13:00 | FREE DROP-IN WORKSHOP led by Daniel Tollady and Georgie Scott
Outside Urban Room Folkestone

Making Coming Ground is an evolving project which invites locals and visitors to create their very own plaster brick. Etched into each brick are words which relate to ideas and feelings about Folkestone. These bricks will then be collected together to replace the paving slabs around the Urban Room, so that memories, hopes and knowledge become part of the built environment for all to see. Come and share the words that you use to describe Folkestone!
