Rachel Stella Jenkins

Rachel Stella Jenkins’ work is shaped by a continuous interrogation and search for new perspectives and insights to the complexities of both largely urbanised and rapidly urbanising environments. This endeavour is brought to life through partnerships in the realm of design, architecture & urbanism.

Her projects and collaborations have included visually documenting, mapping, writing, curating, exhibiting, researching and more recently teaching 3rd Year Interior Architecture Design students at the UCA, Canterbury. Her work aims to broaden the normative definitions and concepts typical of how city ‘spaces’ are approached, designed and built. Rachel founded genuinefake (www.genuinefake.net) and more recently was working with Urban Projects Bureau in London, led by Alex Warnock-Smith, Head of Architecture at Central Saint Martins. Other clients and partners have included The Decorators and The Museum of Architecture, with presentations at the RIBA, the AA (Architectural Association) and think-tank Centre for London.
